We are an organisation set up by local residents and businesses to preserve, protect and enhance the distinctive nature and character of the Lots Road area of Chelsea.
By joining the Forum and helping us to develop a Neighbourhood Plan you can have a direct impact on how our area develops. Our Plan, if we are successful, will have legal force and ensure that our voice is heard in all future planning decisions. We don’t want another talking shop, we want to take decisive, constructive action to improve life in our area.
Our core mission is to improve the economic, social and environmental well-being of those living and working in and around Lots Road. Lots Road is home to the only designated employment zone in Chelsea, so our work will be critical in developing the local economy and bringing new jobs and opportunities to those that live here and those who wish to work in the area.
The ability to create a Neighbourhood Plan was introduced in the Localism Act 2011 and many communities up and down the country are taking the opportunity to have their views reflected in the planning process. The official designation of the Forum and the Forum Area by the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea (RBKC) came into effect on 5th July 2022. We will in due course ensure that our Plan is in general conformity with the strategic policies of RBKC and the Chelsea Local Plan adopted in September 2019.
The area covered by the Lots Road Neighbourhood Forum and Plan can be seen on this map:

If you live or work in the Lots Road area please consider joining the Forum. Membership is free and we want to hear the views of everyone in our community as we draw up the Neighbourhood Plan. Please use the contact form or email us directly at [email protected]
We will also be updating the information contained on this website on a regular basis, so please keep checking back to stay informed of our progress.
